The Origins of The Depths

The Depths are where ideas that were written down and lost long ago resurface, see the light of day once more, and usually will get scrutinized as we realize why they were forgotten or tossed out in the first place. Forget the Isle of Misfit Toys, this is the metropolis of pure garbage.

The motivation behind these is actually rather simple. Memo pads get super crowded, and this provides the self deprecation needed to survive as a millennial. Let’s face it, there can only be so many avocado toast articles before we stop laughing at ourselves and start laughing at the people writing those. The last funny article on that was written back in 2015 for anyone keeping track of such things.
